 Kellie is a retired federal servant living in the Midwest with her husband. She holds a Master of Arts degree in homeland security and defense and is fulfilling a lifelong ambition to write children’s books. Kellie and Samantha have a shared passion for environmentalism and sustainability. They also have a shared passion for nurturing the youth and teaching them to thrive in a challenging world. 

 Driven by nature's wild call, Samantha has a Bachelor of Arts degree in environmental sciences. Drawn to the subtropics, Samantha practices her work in Florida where she lives with her husband and daughter. She has loved learning through adventures in the natural world, DIY projects, and reading since she was a little girl. Samantha wants to show children how easy, everyday activities can inspire sustainable solutions that everyone can benefit from.
